Entry to EJB Gymnastics Club is through selection at trials.

At EJB Gymnastics Club, we aim to have all our members compete in gymnastics competitions. We are looking for girls and boys for whom that would be an appropriate and enjoyable activity.

At the trials, the gymnasts will be asked to perform tasks which will demonstrate strength, flexibility, balance, control and co-ordination. We are looking for potential and not specific skills. No previous experience is necessary for our beginner classes.

Places will be allocated so that the gymnasts train with others who are of a similar age and ability. At the end of each term there is some movement between sessions, so email me if the session allocated to your gymnast wouldn’t work for you as there might be a space in an alternative session.

We hold trials at the end of each term, for places to begin at the start of the following term. All gymnasts need to be of school age – between 4 and 18 years old!

Every trial lasts 1 hour and costs £10. The money should be transferred to –

• Email me to book a place
• Pay online £10 to sort code: 40 08 41, account number: 31592319
• Come to Haberdashers’ Boys’ School, Butterfly Lane, Elstree, Herts, WD63AF.
• Park in the North Drive car park (off Butterfly Lane) and follow the signs to the Medburn Sports Centre which is at the back of the school.
• Arrive 5 mins early and wait outside the Medburn
• Parents may watch from upstairs through the large window.
• Gymnasts should wear a leotard and/or shorts/ leggings and a t-shirt.
  Their hair must be securely tied back.
  No jewellery should be worn, any earrings should be removed or taped up
• Email me after the trials to see if your gymnast has been accepted into the club.
